It's already been a year since I started practicing yoga regularly. For the Yoga Six blog, I've written about the lessons yoga has taught me, when I hadn't even sought or planned on learning lessons that I've taken "off of the mat." What started as a way to "exercise" has totally shifted my way of thinking, which has been a huge growing experience.
Ocean Beach 's biggest draw — to both insiders and outsiders — is its beach, but another big part of this tight-knit and friendly town is its library. The Ocean Beach Library is small, at just over 4,500 square feet, but it's mighty in its impact and significance to the community.
One of the things I love most about writing is being able to tell the life stories of others--especially stories of transformation and redemption. While I saw a lot of those as an editor at Xulon Press, I am now finding these types of stories everywhere--even in the yoga community.
